AMERICAN R&B singer and television personality Ray J has left fans deeply concerned after posting an emotional video about his declining health, claiming doctors have given him a grim outlook.

Speaking directly to supporters on social media following a recent hospital stay, the 44-year-old star said bluntly, “2027 is definitely a wrap for me,” while gesturing as if to signal an ending. A friend off-camera encouraged him to stay hopeful, but Ray J responded that he was repeating what medical professionals had told him.

According to entertainment website TMZ, the entertainer attributed his health struggles to years of heavy drinking and partying, saying the lifestyle has taken a serious toll on his heart. He has previously stated that his heart is functioning at only about 25 percent capacity.

In the video, Ray J described feeling “invincible” during his wilder years, but now believes the long-term impact has caught up with him. He added that he plans to travel to Haiti in the coming weeks in search of alternative treatment options, calling it a last effort to improve his condition despite ongoing safety concerns in the country.

Ray J ended the message by expressing gratitude to his parents and his sister, Grammy-winning singer Brandy, whom he said has been supporting him financially during his recovery. The update comes shortly after he was hospitalised in Las Vegas with severe pneumonia and heart-related complications — a health scare that follows another serious bout of pneumonia several years ago.

Fans have since flooded his social media pages with messages of support and prayers as concern grows over the singer’s condition.
