LOS ANGELES — Singer Ciara and NFL star Russell Wilson are preparing to welcome another addition to their family, announcing that they are expecting their fifth child.
The couple shared the news on social media in a playful family announcement featuring their four children and a tiny baby outfit, offering fans a glimpse of the growing Wilson household.
In the video, Ciara proudly showed off her baby bump while standing beside a clothesline carrying five white garments. Four of the outfits were personalised with the names of their children — Future, Sienna, Win and Amora — while a miniature onesie at the end of the line was left without a name.
Ciara also held up five fingers as she smiled for the camera, while Wilson joined her in celebrating the news.
“One more person to Love,” the couple wrote in the caption.
The pregnancy will be Ciara’s fifth child and her fourth with Wilson. She shares her eldest child, 12-year-old Future Zahir, with rapper Future. She and Wilson are also parents to Sienna Princess, nine, Win Harrison, six, and Amora Princess, two.
Ciara, 40, and Wilson, 37, married in 2016 and have frequently shared moments from their family life with their followers.
Wilson had already hinted at wanting another baby
The announcement comes after Ciara previously revealed that Wilson had raised the prospect of having another child shortly after the birth of their daughter Amora in December 2023.
Speaking to Us Weekly in July, Ciara recalled that Wilson asked her about having another baby while she was still in the delivery room.
“So, cinco?” Wilson reportedly asked, referring to the Spanish word for five.
Ciara said she laughed at the suggestion and told her husband to slow down and enjoy the arrival of their newborn before thinking about another child.
It appears Wilson’s wish has now become reality.
Wilson embraces his role as a father
Beyond his three children with Ciara, Wilson has also spoken publicly about his close relationship with his stepson, Future Zahir.
Earlier this year, the NFL quarterback discussed his role as a stepfather during an appearance on the I Am Athlete show, explaining that he understood the responsibility that came with becoming part of Ciara’s life.
The couple’s latest announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulations from friends, fans and fellow celebrities, including television personality La La Anthony.
With another baby on the way, Ciara and Wilson are now preparing for their next chapter as a family of seven.
