Kanye West will perform his first European concert in over a decade, according to AllHipHop.com, marking a significant development in the artist’s international comeback.

The rapper and producer, also known as Ye, is scheduled to appear at GelreDome on 6 June 2026. The performance will be his first on the continent since 2014, ending a 12-year gap for European audiences.

Venue representatives anticipate strong demand for the event. A spokesperson described the concert as “an event of international scale and a special moment for Dutch audiences.”

The announcement follows a series of recent overseas performances. In January, West reportedly drew more than 40,000 fans to a sold-out show in Mexico City, held at the Monumental Plaza de Toros. The concert was widely viewed as a demonstration of continued global interest in the artist’s live shows.

West’s European return comes ahead of the planned release of his forthcoming album, Bully, which is expected to arrive on streaming platforms on 20 March 2026. The project will be distributed through independent company Gamma, following West’s split from major labels.

In recent years, West’s career has been overshadowed by controversy, particularly after widely criticised remarks made in 2022 and 2023. Several corporate partnerships were subsequently terminated, including his high-profile collaboration with Adidas.

Earlier this year, West published a public apology via a full-page advertisement in The Wall Street Journal, expressing regret for his past statements. He attributed his behaviour to mental health struggles and discussed undergoing treatment.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, journalist Anna Peele questioned whether the apology was linked to commercial considerations. West reportedly denied this, stating that his remorse was genuine.

Additional European dates are expected, including a performance in Reggio Emilia later in the summer. Industry observers note that the Netherlands concert will serve as an early indicator of European reception to West’s return.

Tickets for the GelreDome performance are scheduled to go on sale on 13 February.
