HARARE – Zimpapers has appointed seasoned media professional William Chikoto as its substantive Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant leadership transition for the organisation.
Announcing the development during a strategic planning session in Harare, Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Dr Jenfan Muswere noted that Chikoto assumes the top post with immediate effect.
The appointment comes as Zimpapers accelerates its transformation agenda, having recently launched a fully integrated, digital-first newsroom. This modernised model strengthens the company’s capacity to deliver timely, multi-platform news while reinforcing the enduring role of its print and broadcast operations.
