BRUSSELS, Belgium – A Geo Pomona delegation led by Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman Delish Nguwaya has concluded a high-level working and learning visit to Belgium, aimed at strengthening international partnerships and advancing sustainable environmental solutions.

The delegation, accompanied by Zimbabwe’s Deputy Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, Mrs Angelica Katuruza, held strategic engagements with experts from Ecosteryl Environmental Solutions in Mons. Ecosteryl is a globally recognised manufacturer of advanced medical waste treatment equipment and a leader in innovative, environmentally sustainable waste management technologies.

During the visit, the Geo Pomona team participated in detailed technical discussions and conducted an extensive tour of Ecosteryl’s state-of-the-art assembly facility. The engagements focused on modern approaches to medical waste treatment, technology transfer, and the application of sustainable solutions in emerging markets.

As part of the programme, the delegation also paid a courtesy call on the Mayor of the City of Mons, Mr Nicolas Martin, a meeting that underscored the strengthening of institutional and international cooperation between Zimbabwean entities and European partners.

Geo Pomona said the visit represented a significant milestone in its efforts to harness world-class technology and global best practice in environmental management, as the company seeks to enhance waste treatment capacity in Zimbabwe and explore broader regional opportunities.
