DELHI, INDIA — Hip-Hop superstar Travis Scott made history in India after drawing more than 125,000 fans across two electrifying CIRCUS MAXIMUS shows at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, setting a new record for the largest rap concerts ever held in the country.

The back-to-back performances on October 18 and 19 were part of Scott’s global CIRCUS MAXIMUS WORLD TOUR and marked a defining moment for India’s growing Hip-Hop scene. Organised by Live Nation and BookMyShow, the shows delivered Scott’s trademark spectacle — a high-energy blend of towering visuals, pyrotechnics, immersive lighting, and explosive stage design that left fans in awe.

Since the tour’s launch in October 2023, CIRCUS MAXIMUS has shattered records worldwide, grossing $209.3 million from 76 sold-out shows and selling over 1.7 million tickets across continents. It now stands as the highest-grossing solo rap tour in history, cementing Scott’s reputation as one of the most dominant performers in modern music.

The Houston-born artist’s Indian chapter isn’t over yet. He’s slated to perform next at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse on November 19, where another massive turnout is expected. From there, the tour will continue through Seoul, Sanya, Tokyo, and Abu Dhabi into 2025.

Scott is also set to return to the Coachella stage in 2025 — his first appearance at the iconic festival since 2017. Fans can also look forward to new music, as the rapper recently teased that his upcoming album will be “as crazy as it gets.”
