Mamelodi Sundowns reject R25 million offer for Khama Billiat

FLAMBOYANT South African side Mamelodi Sundowns have reportedly rejected a R25 million offer for talented Warriors midfielder Khama Billiat from an unnamed Eastern Europe club.

According to an online South African news site, Soccer Laduma, The Brazilians want nothing less than R37,2million for the reigning Absa Premiership Player of the Year.

According to Soccer Laduma, the deal would have seen Billiat net three times more in salary than what he does in South Africa at the moment.

Khama Billiat will earn three times what he is getting at Sundowns if he moves to the unnamed club.

The Warriors star player is probably enjoying the best form of his career and is largely credited with the fairy tale rise of the crack South African side that has seen them reach the knockout phase of the Caf Champions League.
