ZSE in marginal dip

Harare-Trading on the ZSE was largely subdued today, leaving the industrial index marginally lower at 152.04 after losing 0.01 points (or 0,01 percent).

Construction firm Masimba lost 1,40 cents to close at 0,60 cents, while beverages giant Delta was down by a cent to settle at 104 cents. Hippo declined by 0,01 cents to trade at 35 cents.

The losses were partially offset by gains in new listing Proplastics turned from biggest loser on Wednesday to top the gainers today, gaining 0,70 cents to 1,50 cents. Crocodile skin producer Padenga was up 0,49 cents to close at 10 cents and CBZ gained 0,19 cents to trade at 10 cents.

Volumes were improved from yesterday, buoyed by BAT, Innscor and Econet. This pushed the value of trades to $538 079. The mining index was flat again at 46.54 as Bindura, Falgold, Hwange and RioZim maintained previous price levels at 4 cents, 1 cent 4 cents and 12,50 cents respectively. – BH24 Reporter
