HARARE – There are uncomfirmed reports that Information Minister Professor Jonathan Moyo has been sacked from cabinet this afternoon; The Zimbabwe Mail can reveal.
An unnamed source revealed to The Zimbabwe Mail that Moyo has been relieved of his duties after the cabinet meeting.
The source said Moyo’s departure was necessitated by his recent election as an MP for Tsholotsho North.
President Mugabe appointed Moyo into cabinet as a non-elected MP shortly after the controversial 2013 elections.
