Carl Joshua is touring and tickling the world
Celebrated Comedian, Carl Joshua Ncube, is at it again! After having recently performed 31 shows in 31 venues in 7 days to challenge a Guinness World Record of 30 shows, he wants to attempt a 60 day American tour.
The Guinness Book of Records is, however, still to confer the Zimbabwean Comedy great, with a record holding status after completing their verification process.
Fortunately, this is not a deterrent to the Bulawayo-born comedian as he is already travelling the world. Currently Carl is in South Africa until the October 8, 2016; then he continues to Germany, France and Dubai with comedy gigs for the remainder of 2016. He has already announced a 60 day American tour, world record confirmation notwithstanding.
In a press statement Carl says, “It is very important for a comedian to learn and grow by travelling and meeting other comedians and performing to a wide and diverse audience–to finally find your voice.”
From September 1 to October 21, 2017, Carl intends to perform at any comedy club that will host him in the United States. Though his management is still securing bookings, Carl intends to perform in 15 American Cities which include, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orlando, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit and many others.
During the tour Carl will also be filming a travel vlog and cooking as he travels by road. For people that have followed Carl on social media, you would know that cooking and travel are some of his passions.
CNN African Voices have described Carl as the “New face of Zimbabwean Comedy”, but we would like to add the “most hardworking comedian” Zimbabwe has currently. – ZimboJam
