Jennifer Lopez has admitted the 10 dress changes she had while she was hosting the AMAs in November left her with lots of bruises over her body.
The ‘On the Floor’ hitmaker, 46, dropped jaws with her see-through gowns, skintight catsuits and cleavage-baring frocks when she hosted the show in Los Angeles two months ago.
But she has admitted the frequent swap of attire throughout the night left her curvaceous body black and blue.
Speaking in the February issue of InStyle magazine, she explained: “I had scratches and bruises everywhere from trying on so much stuff.”
But, despite the injuries she sustained, the curvaceous actress knew she had to make an impact with her raunchy fashion sense and provocative dance moves because she couldn’t rely on her comedy factor to get her through.
She explained: “I’m not going to try to be a comedian. I’m just going to play to my strengths. I’m a singer, I’m a dancer and I’m a performer. I’ve always wanted to be a singer and a dancer and an actress since I was very young.”
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty – who has seven-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony – can’t wait to kick off her Las Vegas residency in the city’s Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino later this year.
She said of her forthcoming shows: “Compared with an arena, Vegas is very intimate.
“I see this show as a chance for people to spend an evening with me and really get to know me.” – FemaleFirst
