July inflation slides to -1.6 percent

HARARE,– Zimbabwe’s inflation for the month of July 2016 fell by 0.24 percentage points to -1.60 percent, the national statistics agency said on Monday.

On a month on month basis, the inflation rate in July was -0.19 percent – shedding 0.38 percentage points on the June 2016 rate of 0.19 percent, Zimstat said.
