HARARE,– Zimbabwe’s consumer inflation stood at 2.19 percent year-on-year in January after gaining 0,29 percentage points on the December 2015 rate of 2.47 percent, the statistical agency Zimstat reported on Monday.
On a monthly basis, the inflation rate was -0.05 percent from the December 2015 rate of -0.11percent, the Zimbabwe National Statistics Agency said.
